About the Glaze We were experimenting with our glazes when we hit upon this beauty. We call it French Roast because...well, we think that's pretty obvious. We love it for the yummy way the glaze pulls down from the rim shifting from cafe au lait to a deep dark roast. It's glossy until the bottom third where our satin/metallic mussel glaze takes over. Kind of a vintage vibe, and we're pretty down with that. It's a super fussy glaze we only make in small batches. And you can only get this mug, in this color right here on our website.
