The Indian Lake Collection of live edge tables are handcrafted by sculptor Daniel Oates - the husband side of the dbO Home husband + wife duo. Daniel carefully chooses slabs of sustainably forested woods for the shape, color and grain to include just the right knots, worm-holes and swirls. He focuses on the natural edge of the slab or burl to create the unique shape for each custom made table and avoids nails and screws whenever possible. Daniel steam bends the wood for the bentleg tables and handcarves the rough hewn legs … the result - meticulously crafted, rustic modern pieces that are unusually light and elegant.
